Had very pleasant stay in this cute little hotel, the staff were competent, location was EXCELLENT especiallly close to the opercina tramway which was convenient for us coming from Llubljana. We got free of charge breakfasts with home made cakes. Location: the venue was so close to the primary bus stops, restaurants and shops nearby and a very nice area.

The breakfast was delicious and included. Attentive and helpful stuff and everything was fine.

Big size rooms with nice city view.

I had a restful time here and would have extended the stay. It was a wonderful, stunningly beautiful hotel with great staff.

We stayed in impeccably clean room with the balcony that also had wake-up service. The breakfast was delicious with a real coffee and home made cakes, as for instance, worth the price.

Delicious, amazing breakfast with home made cakes. Perfect bed, marble bathroom and climate control, a mini-bar, and an electronic key card in the room.

This hotel is quite central, close to the train station, bus stop, taxi, and restaurants. It serves as a comfortable place to read the daily international newspapers, enjoy tea, coffee, fruit, and small snacks in the afternoons. The rooms are very quiet, and my room was very large with a spacious bathroom with lots of counter space. The hotel's attention to detail far exceeded my expectations, especially when it came to the excellent breakfast spread with a great variety of tasty options.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is great - very near the train station, next to the Opicina tram, terrific neighborhood restaurant just behind it (10 Regina). The room is spartan, but comfortable, clean, and quiet. The piazza side of the building has good sun, the other side is rather dark (the double-paned windows keep the noise out). Breakfasts are fresh and have an excellent variety, and in a very civilized room.

Absolutely lovely hotel, would recommend to everyone. The room with the jacuzzi/ bath is wonderful. The breakfast room is beautiful and it's great that you have a in it day or night. There's something about the atmosphere - a sense of history, space and ariness that makes the room and the hotel in general peaceful and restorative. Your could tell that there is a good manager because the staff are relaxed and happy. Just one suggestion - the medical conference people had a fantastic list of 'things to do in Trieste' with instructions on how to get to places etc. I think you should use this for all guests on arrival Thank you!

I had a lucky miscommunication and stumbled upon this charming hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to the train station and all the attractions. The rooms were updated and had lovely amenities. The included breakfast was exceptional, with high-quality products. The staff were friendly and made me feel like part of the family. I had a delightful stay and would highly recommend Albergo Alla Posta.
